In that case, yea there is barely any room at all I misread, the western side is mostly very wide roads and really big warehouses. I think the Carsland rockwork would help significantly if they extend it to the edge of PP right behind Screamin'

The new frozen drink stand is open:

A big disappointment after Edelweiss Snacks. Are they going to abandon the Victorian look on the west side of the bay and make it all plastic bubbles to match Jumpin' Jellyfish? On top of that it doesn't even look well built, just slapped together.

...a teacup? Looks like you linked the wrong picture lol.

Edit: ignore that! It does look like JJ, though.

wrong picture? the good news is it looks temporary... Edelweiss Snacks is a permanent structure. I'm sure that area will get more attention once Paradise Garden and the shops get their Victorian theming. They aren't finished with that side of the park yet!

Yeah, copy and paste has been acting funny - pasting the last thing copied not the current one.

Maybe slapped together indicates temporary.

Where is this?

I think it's directly across from the (now extinct) Orange Stinger

This is just west of the Maliboomer, the other side of the California Screamin' track, next to the parade doors, where they just built the place to put this.

A couple days ago when people were discussing what the official name for the new park/viewing area was going to be, I almost made a joke about them renaming the area "Toy Story 3 Land", but that doesn't sound funny after seeing this.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker VIII

There is still no concrete in the bottom of the PoM structure so I am thinking it is a planter not a fountain.

Um? The new viewing area has no connection to Toy Story whatsoever As I said before, this area of the park isn't finished yet.. in fact, construction hasn't even started! This temporary stand is.. temporary. I'm sure someone knows more about this - Baloo, anyone?

I think so too... but we'll never know until the PoM riddle is solved!

On a side note, any water in the bay?

Just some small puddles - no filling. I noticed that the men working on the platform are using ladders and a portable staircase to get to the platform from the bottom of the bay, so I doubt they will start filling until the platform work is done.

Isnt that stand just the same one that used to sit near the entrance to Orange Stinger before it was eaten up by walls.

I never noticed it, but I think someone said it was new when it was still covered up. Hopefully they will replace it with something nicer, and if they are reusing an older one, then that would increase the chances of getting something better down the road.
