Hey guys,
I am just wondering is the canoes around River of America on a track?
Also, is the boat that take you to Tom Sawyer Island on a track also? This for sure, must be on a track.
Thanks

No, neither are on tracks.
The canoes and rafts (and formerly keel boats) are free-floating and not on tracks.
Mark Twain and Columbia are.
^^^^^^^
They speak the truth!
For further confirmation, you can always do a quick search here on MC on the subject. Many pics have been posted of the ROA while it was drained and you can clearly see the tracks for the Columbia and the Mark Twain, but nothing else for the other vessels that ply the waterway.
Or just take our word for it! ;)
Come on, you can trust us!!! Well, at least you can trust them!
:captain:
You can also think about this logically.
If Mark Twain and Columbia are on a track, which they are, then the canoes, the TSI rafts and the old keel boats can not be on a track since they cross the MT track.
A common misconception. Neither are on tracks. :)
Confirmation: when I rode the canoes last week, we bumped into the shoreline! :D
You can see them having no tracks for yourself in a few months when the Roa is drained. :)
wait why is roa getting drained?
mark twain is the only boat that is on a track
But seriously, if you can think of how eight canoes, three rafts and two big boats (and two keel boats back in the day) could all run on tracks then your engineering brilliance is being wasted!
No track for canoes, but the paddles you use don't really propel the canoe. There is a motor underneath. It sounds like quacking ducks so you can't tell it's there.
I want one of those duck engines for my car, dammit!
Would you call it more of a guide than a track for the Mark Twain and Columbia? They both float but I always saw that it's a track for Jungle Cruise, but a guide for the big boats. I've seen them dry docked and it looks that way.
