    New "Golden Horseshoe Revue"!

Who would like bring back "Old West"
    at The "Golden Horseshoe "!

I think this show be worth bringing back to stage.

    New "Golden Horseshoe Revue"!

    in "FRONTIERLAND"!

    What do you think?
The Golden Horseshoe Revue was the original and
longest running show at the saloon playing from
    July 17, 1955 until October 12, 1986.
The stage show features saloon owner Slue Foot Sue and
her dance hall girls who welcome the audience with Hello
Everybody followed by a flirtatious interactive song like
A Lady Has to Mind Her P’s and Q’s or Riverboat Blues.
various skits featuring a traveling salesmen,
Later the show is interrupted byPecos Bill himself who
sings his self titled signature song.

Well, Billy Hill and the Billies occupy that space now, and they are very very popular. I don't expect that they are going anywhere anytime soon. Additionally, since the Hoop-de-do Revue is still going strong in Fort Wilderness Campgrounds (and the show is the same kinda idea as what used to play in the Golden Horseshoe) it is unlikely that the need to replace the Billys is there.

I do not agreed that the Golden Horseshoe Revue and the Hoop-de-do Revue are the same, but do think both shows are great!
I not sure ....my understanding, Billy Hill and the Billies
    has now move on...?
They are good what they do , but in no way same as Golden Horseshoe Revue!

Not the same, same kind of idea, I think we have a communication barrier. My main point is that the Billys are very popular and I doubt they would go anywhere without their sayso.

Billies need a different venue, they don't fit well in the Golden Horseshoe, and they don't add to any sort of Old West theme that is needed in Frontierland. Get the can can gals back in the Golden Horseshoe, and build some sort of venue in DCA, around Grizzly Peak, for the Billies.

And where would you recommend the Miner 49ers go, then? Wouldn't two groups be redundant?

Here's what I would like to see done:

There should be two daytime shows in Frontierland-

    1) Billy Hill and the Hillbillies will have three sets in the Golden Horseshoe, in the first part of the day, then would switch up to the Big Thunder Roundup and Barbeque for the second part of the day, finishing up around 5:00, like they do now.

    2) The Laughing Stock Company will have two new routines, split across three shows, each (much like they do now- how it's one story spread out over different performances). The first story/set will be up at the Big Thunder Roundup and Barbeque in the first part of the day. Then they would switch with the Billys into the Golden Horseshoe, where they would have a different story/set spread over another three performances, finishing up around 5:00.

Once these groups have finished for the day, and nighttime starts settling in, a brand-new Golden Horseshoe Revue will have three separate shows, throughout the evening and night. It think there would be shows for this at 6:15, 7:30 and 8:45.

    But that's just my 2˘.

How do you figure Billy Hill isn't a Frontierland type show? They are dressed up in that style, they play fiddles and such. I feel like they are perfect in there and they pack that place every time I've ever been there. (Though I do miss the guys who were let go. )

I also think the original performance needs to come back.

I wish they could have a Wild West Stunt show that would be the best for Frontierland.
