Blast From The Past - Ticket From '98

    Just thought I'd share:

This is a ticket from December 25, 1998. I don't really know which one of my family members it belongs to, there were three tickets originally, but it is one of ours. The bar code and other printing have faded. This was my second trip to Disneyland at that point in my life. (I was 9) I do still have the parking section thing with the date stamped on it...and I still have the map. Ahh, memories.

Re: Blast From The Past - Ticket From '98

I have an old one day ticket stub from the '90s. It has to be from summer of '95, '96, or '97. I have it in a drawer somewhere. It has Mickey on it. He looks like he's drawn and colored with pastel colored pencils. It was the old date stamp passport. I also have a map from '95's 40 Years of Adventure. I also have a pop up map from the 35th Anniversary. I think I bought it at the Disneyland Hotel shop that used to be located next to the old travelport under the Monorail station. My parents kept an old A-E Ticket book.

I wish I and my family had saved things from Disneyland like that over the years. I save all my maps from now on. The oldest ones I have date back to late 2001. After I saw how much the July 17, 2005 maps were going for on eBay, I wish I had grabbed more than just two extras!

I found my first AP, from 1994. Damn I wish I still had that hairline.

I think I still have my Grad Night ticket from '98. I'll have to dig it up and scan it for y'all.

man I felt old when you said you were 9 in 1998.
Well, I think you're crazy, I think you're crazy, I think you're crazy, just like me.

I still have my Magic Kingdom Club unlimited passport dated May 18, 1982.
I was 12 and I have some pics somewhere of my sister and me on the Skyway over the construction in Fantasyland.

That ticket is so cool! It reminded me of a "special" ticket that I had tucked away in my closet...

Here's a ticket from 1996 (it's not the oldest one I have, but it's one of my favorites).

This was a special commemorative ticket from the Main Street Electrical Parade, it measured well over 14 inches in length and the images are embossed onto the ticket. The only downside to the ticket was that is was a total pain to keep in good condition while I was in the park that day (but now I'm glad I made the effort).

    Here's the Front:

Here's the Back side (next to an Annual Pass to give you a reference of its size):
