As a fellow Verizon user, I agree to everything you said! It is kind of weird that it's Verizon-exclusive, but it's also kind of nice (and funny) because I have Verizon. Oh, and as for the iPhone being AT&T, Verizon is getting the Droid, which might be cool.

Also, a little off-topic perhaps, but weren't they going to do something like this with the Nintendo DS? Whatever happened with that?

I'm assuming this is only for smartphones? I want a smartphone. I can't afford a smartphone. I should get a smartphone anyway. Smartphone. What a strange word. XD

No, as near as I can tell, it's for all Verizon GPS enabled phones. I just downloaded it into my Motorola KRZR, and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!:D:roll:

You get wait times, ride status (looks like Space Mountain is down again), character visit schedules, interactive maps, info on stores and restaurants, you can link to the Disney Dining reservation number, and tons of other info.:yea::clap:

The app works for both Anaheim and Florida. :):thumbup:

One more thing...it's $9.99 for six months, good if you go a lot, but you can download it for one day use for free.

It's not available for my LG Env Touch yet. :thumbdown

Mobile Magic ? First Disney Parks Mobile App Now Available Disney Parks Blog

This article says the app will be available for touch phones in the upcoming weeks. Hopefully by my trip in early December. For $10, I'd definitely give it a shot.

Don't forget about the new Disneyland Mobile page at m.disneyland.com. It's an ok site, I guess. I just can't wait until the full program is available on my phone! I'm so excited! :clap:

Oh man, I have my contract coming up. I hope I can get a phone this'll work forso I can download it for my trip this March.

As an update, Verizon is not supporting this app on all phones. I have the Storm and it is not available...it looks like no blackberrys will carry it as of yet. A good friend of mine has the new Droid and it is also not available. A family member has the Env Touch and it is also not available yet. It is very odd to have both Disney and Verizon tout this so much and then not make it available to a wide range of users. Hope it makes it to more phones soon and I'm happy with the price for as much as I go, it will be a nice addition to have. (But now they can track me in the park, AHHH!)

And m.disneyworld.com for Disney World. They are a very good start and a nice FREE alternative to some of the apps being sold to Verizon customers.

I'm using the mobile page on my iPhone. Simply visit m.disneyland.com and then click the + button at the bottom of your browser to add the link to your iPhone home screen. Works like a charm (NOTE TO DISNEY: add a "webclip Icon").

I would've mentioned that, but since this is the DL forums, I figured it was irrelevant. ;)
