Talking Your Childhood Disneyland Photos/Memories

So I was going through some old Disneyland photos of myself from when I was a kid (a few of which are hilarious) and I thought it'd be a fun idea for everyone to post their talk about some of their favorite/fondest childhood memories of Disneyland and share whatever photos of yourself you may have of yourself as a kid at Disneyland!
(I did a quick search and didn't find a thread like this so hope I'm not repeating something that's been done before)

Here's some of my pictures/memories: (The years are just guesses)

(1993)
Me rocking out with the Bellhops.
The story goes: they put a Bellhops hat on me and gave me a tambourine and let me rock out with them. I have some video somewhere of it, pretty funny haha. Apparently I drew a crowd.

(1993)
"Sassy Patrick", as my sister labeled this one. Hahahahaha. Every time we look at it we die. Apparently my sister pretended like she was dancing with the Beast so then I wanted to do it too. And this picture is the result haha.

(2002)
One of my best memories of all: Lagniappe. Found and visited with him every time I went to d-land. One of my favorite people there, always a delight to be around... was sad when he left Disneyland.

Well those are some of my favorite Disneyland memories from my childhood... now what are yours?

Re: Your Childhood Disneyland Photos/Memories

Now that I think of it, all I remember is riding Peter Pan and getting necklaces from New Orleans Square, and then some Small World memories. Oh, and eating at the Hungry Bear Restaurant. And then, after DCA opened, I would ride the Jumpin' Jellyfish.
I guess I was just a boring child. Because I don't recall watching parades or fireworks, either.
It's kind of sad how I can't think of any more fond memories...
I have some not-so-fond memories, though. XD

Oops! Good call. I edited my post and added the years (1993 for the first two and 2002 for the last one).

As did I! I remember the show well even though I was so young. Wish I had more of my kid photos from Disneyland.

Cool pictures . I unfortunately never got a chance to ride the People Mover. I think it was gone before I was born (I think).

This is inspiring me to go find more photos

The mermaids were there 4 hours a day for a period from 1965 - 1967. More pictures and info about the mermaids are here:

Re: Your Childhood Disneyland Photos/Memories

I have very vague memories of the submarine ride...basically, just exiting the ride. XDD

And I went searching for some old Disney photos, and I found one. Just one. I think I need to search a little more.

Re: Your Childhood Disneyland Photos/Memories

My Tuba instructor used to be a Bellhop! (and my Trumpet instructor used to be a Christmas Parade Toy Soldier trumpeteer). I used to go to the Disneyland Hotel all the time to see them perform.

here's some pics of my day:
