Trip Report Disneyland Resort 11/6-11/8, Inside The Filming!

Here is a report I put together from this weekend, when my brother was in the parade. Enjoy!

Cameras were set up along Main Street for the filming

These snowmen and girls danced like there was no tomorrow!

How VERY cool that Anika sang from that balcony!! I don't think I've ever seen anyone up there before. Perfect setting for her solo. Wish I could have been there today. It sounds like you had a great time. Thanks for posting those shots, Coolspike!

in other news kinda related to this, my cousins who were in the park today reported that john lassetter was on the showboat for one of the performances of princess and the frog.

Very cool. I wouldn't want to visit DL on filming day. That's just me personally, but I'm still fascinated with all the work that is done as opposed to just seeing it on TV.

Here are some of the shots that I got.

First is Cheryl Burke sitting with some extras being served. It was a very cute set up.

Some photos of Anika Noni Rose

She saw me trying to take her picture and smiled for me

This next shot has nothing to do with the filming. My daughter decided to dress up and wear her vintage clothing. We were unaware that the extras and dancers would be wearing similar clothing. After the filming and while waiting for their next spot we asked if Jennifer could have her picture taken with them.

one thing about these filming days...the park had practically no one in them..so if you stay away from filming areas, it has been like having the park to yourself all week...really nice!

Just goes to show you never know who you'll see at Disneyland. (Last time, my Husband meet Penn, from Penn and Teller and we also saw an actor from Ugly Betty.)
