Now if the targets all look like Michael Eisner, TL might just have a winner!

It didn't open tonight. I stayed until the park closed. However, a number of people (probably about 100) had heard the rumor and were waiting at one time or another outside the ride.

I had read an article earlier about there being 2 different stories, as in floors, not books, to Buzz. Can anyone who has been on it already confirm or deny that?? Thanks!

Is Buzz being voiced by Tim Allen or Patrick Warburton?

I've always favored Tim Allen's rendition, but I think Warburton is probably the cheaper (and therefore more likely) alternative!

My son is way too excited about this ride. He was telling his dad about it last night at dinner. He has been a Buzz fan for most of his young life, so this ride is a huge deal for him.

If Al's update is true, I am going to go to the park this weekend with Brian in tow to see if they will let us go on the ride. I just have to figure out how to make us look like tourists and not the APs that we are.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

My boys are totally ready for this ride to open. I also like the new paint that TL is getting.

check the video on mouseInfo.com...I think it's Patrick. I KNOW It's not Tim Allen, but the audio compression has made it difficult for me to identify the actor. I imagine that they just imported the audio from florida.

nope, you have to have an "early entry" ticket. It has the phrase "early entry" printed on it.

Hmmm....somehow I'm not quite as excited about it as I feel like I should be. Judging from the videos, there is an awful lot of primary colors, "decals", and Dr. Suess styling. Personally, I would have preferred sleeker and more futuristic "in-universe" design, like the cartoon show and the fantastic Buzz Lightyear clip that kicks off Toy Story 2.

Which this is supposed to be based off of, the Toy Story toys or Buzz Lightyear's fictional franchise? Does the ride take place in the toy universe, or outer space?

I thought the ride looked very cool. Especially the Buzz characters.

    Definately an improvement over Pooh.

I think it's easily a solid D ticket. Anybody know of the ride length? It looked to be well over 3 minutes even with the stops. I didn't think that building was that big.
