Re: Where In The Resort Can The Maliboomer Be Moved and Rethemed?

well i personally enjoy it, though i've only been on it once, but that's another story
and i know for sure i'm gonna ride it again before it gets removed

also that idea with the balloon in main street doesn't seem to make sense
the point of the ride is to have this big drop feeling in your stomach
otherwise it would just be another jumpin jellyfish

Maliboomer makes me vomit. I don't get sick riding it, just looking at it.

Bulldoze Big Thunder Ranch and attach the ride to BTMR in Frontierland. It could become Ol' Unfaithful's Revenge.

Retheme it as a crane and move it to the Port of Los Angeles.

    Please?

I don't think Disney would ever put 'Twin Tower' in a ride name... ever.

Demo or sell off to Six Flags. They'll buy anything.

They could dust off the idea for Geyser Mountain, or tweak it and have it be a mine shaft near BTMRR. Maybe a space theme and put it in tomorrowland.
I disageed in putting it in Tommorrow Land!

Tommorrow Land is already getting junking and you want that
tall and ugly the darn structure there?
    I do not think so!
That thing is eyesore no matter were you put it.....
    Just get rid of it!

They could re-theme it to Yosemite but they'd have to make it a bit taller.

Well maybe the balloon theme would work in Flik's Fun Fair - you could get a birds eye view of all the clover. they could certainly get rid of one of the water play areas in the center of FFF.

I think it should be moved to the junkyard and re-themed to a rusty piece of metal debris.

I'm with getting rid of the Maliboomer altogether ... It can be put in the scrap along with the giant hand and wand they put on Spaceship Earth.

As much as I like Maliboomer <insert sarcasm here> I think it could be moved to Knott's!

sorry, I just don't like getting shot then dropped!

With this in mind, it would make good sense in an Aviation themed area to place several airplane spinners around the from... from lower slower cropdusters on the bottom to stealth jets on top. Even include helecopters at one of the levels. Loading capacity would likely be fast.

Another idea would be to use the frame and the ride shaft as a loading platform for some sort of futuristic space craft (simulator ride).
Okay, here's how I would reuse/retheme the Maliboomer as another attraction, presented in this step-by-step list:

1.) Relocate the Maliboomer to Condor Flats
2.) Lean the tower at a 45-degree angle, pointed at an angle to the sky
    3.) Remove restraints from seating
4.) Adjust speed on the launch to be as fast as possible
5.) Send guests on a REAL flying tour of California.

Hopefully this would alleviate some of the lines for Soarin' by providing a more authentic experience.
