Re: Presidential Pardoned Turkey lands at DLR Nov 26th.

It's funny how that group was trying to say Disneyland does not know how to take care of the turkeys when one from last year is over a year old now. They say those type of turkeys normally do not make it to one year. Disney could have slapped that in their face, but I guess they are taking the high rode and just ignoring them.

Last years pardoned turkey Pumpkin died about a week or two ago. Pecan is still there, but he is backstage at the farm and wont be back out. They send the official pardoned turkey and an alternate, because the stress of the flight sometimes will kill the bird. If all goes as planned, Both Courage and Carolina will be on display for a while, until one dies!

I really like President Obama, he seems really genuine when you hear him speak. We are lucky to have him as a leader.

Yeah, I like how he doesn't seem fake or try to be too formal. I like how he slips in some jokes and personality, like how he said, "I was going to eat this sucker!" =p

I like how he was afraid to pet the turkey at first, then he did after his girls pet him. Smart man, didn't want to be finger food for a turkey!

Hilarious. There is some dark humor on this board, but I like it.
