Presidential Pardoned Turkey lands at DLR Nov 26th.

This just in...Big celebration on Nov 26th. Starts at 10am. BE THERE!

The presidential pardoned turkey will be sent to Disneyland this year. Flown first class from Washington DC. put up in one of the hotels and given a parade and official welcome.

Leading the Parade is the President of Butterball, The Parade starts at Small World, follows the regular parade route to town square. Following the cavalcade, the turkeys new habitat will be revealed at Big Thunder Ranch.

Probablly not one of the best parades you'll see at DLR. Just sayin'

This is good to hear. Rumors had been spreading that Disneyland wouldn't get any of the turkeys this year, so one is better than none!!

My son always likes to see the turkeys. We'll have to go visit after we see Santa.

Pardoning turkeys is a bad idea. Turkeys may not be that bright, but a good attorney could site precedent and receive a pardon for ALL turkeys. Have fun eating chicken on Thanksgiving.:p

You know, Ben Franklin wanted the Turkey to be our (USA's) National Bird. Somehow we ended up with an Eagle instead.

I know they're trying to save money, so keep an eye on that turkey. If you see some extra large legs show up in one of those ODV carts, you'll know what happened. :evil:

Gobble Gobble! Oooh how I would love to bail on Turkey day and come see that bird, I would have had to left about four hours ago. Rats! :) Thank goodness for CM Husbands Trip report tommorow:P

I just watched the President's speech as he pardoned the turkey. I thought it was funny how he says he enjoyed being President, but then he has to do things like pardon a turkey and send them to Disneyland. He also said it was a good thing, because he would have eaten the turkey.
