Give a Day. Get a Disney Day.

If i get my whole class to do this, do you think that all 40 of us are allowed to do this. So all of us can go to DLR for Free for a field trip or is this illegal?

I really don't understand how DLR gets profit from this.
example:: a family of 8 can do this and not spend $$$.

Well, think of last this year's promotion, getting in free on your Birthday.

well, if you had a family of 8 and they all had birthdays...you would get 8 birthday tickets right? Just not all at the same time. With this promotion, I believe all 40 of you could go at the same time. yes.

This promotion will allow you to download your ticket and print it out after you voluntEAR. which allows you to take it directly to the turn style skipping standing in line at the booths.

If you think about it, It will accomplish a couple things. 1) it will create massive voluntEARism. - but I heard the deal only goes on until they give away a million tickets.
and 2) It will save them labor since they have an outside organization managing the voluntEAR part. and they wont require you to use up time at ticket windows.

    Its a great idea!

And its not like you are paying totally nothing. Unless you all have premium and don't have to pay for parking... thats.. what now... $12-15 per car. 40 people an average of 4 people per car (unless you take a bus) thats 10 cars... plus those 40 people will most likely at least eat and drink something while in the park. And many if not all would buy some trinket while there.

So see you're not really getting in totally for free, just getting a big discount.

Plus I'm sure there are certain tax right offs for the Mouse too.

With the birthday promo: lets say a family of 8. It's little suzie's bday. Is she gonna go alone? Of course not. So thats 7 people that will go 7 times, and have to pay, assuming they all take advantage of the promo. VoluntEAR: 8 people get in free. That's it. Noble, though.

Except the birthday tickets were unlimited, and Disney has put a limit on the number of volunteer tickets that will be given out.

Also wondering if Disney has put any block out dates on those tickets. What if a good percentage of them decide to come during the peak season?

And do you get to decide which park you are going to, i.e. WDW vs. DLR? And do you win a park hopper, or are these single tickets?

since its a gift in exchange for some volunteering, does it really matter? I've heard its a million tickets at WDW and another million at DLR? but I can't confirm that. Probably just one park, like the B-day tix are.

Dont see why not? I guess it depends on what the activity actually is and how many is needed, but I'm guessing if there is something you do that can use that many people, sure!

But volunteer together or not, you guess can ALL go the same day to DL as well, although I'm guessing its the actual volunteering together more important to you?
