Most of the Main Street food/bev locations have received new costumes, starting today. Included in this change are Blue Ribbon Bakery, Coke Corner, Plaza Inn, Main Street Fruit Cart, Gibson Girl Ice Cream, and the Little Red Wagon.
I don't like them nearly as much. They are all genericize-- basic stripes in slightly varied colors. The ladies' skirts are also shorter, as a safety improvement. They know reach mid-calf instead of the ankle.
But any CM who's ever worked an early shift at Carnation Cafe feels me when I say that those skirts were real thick and warm!
The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor will lose it's signature teal "dentist" green outfit and opt for the more generic stripe pattern as well.
Current CMs would have seen costuming CMs wearing the new costumes in costuming today.
