    Question Character Autographs

I'm looking through my old Disneyland autograph books from when I was a kid, and comparing them to the autograph books I have today (Yes...I'm 20 and still enjoy autograph books). The signatures all look SO similiar, if not the same!

I wonder if the cast members/characters have to go through training on how to sign their name?!

I believe they do. Disney tries to emphasize consistency with their characters and therefore all characters have to be the same height, go through training and even sign their names the same. They also can't take their masks off or talk unless indoors backstage. Even in life or death situations. I really admire these people!

Yes, they do. That way when a kid comes back the next year the autograph is the same (or very dang nearly). Or even if a kid meets the same character on the same visit.

Consistency with the characters is incredibly important to them.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

As far as I know, they do infact train them how to write the signature. Them folks at Disney are pretty clever.

If it were a Princess I would say she had a crush on you from drawing a heart around her name..But since it was Jafar I will go with the Kingdom Heart shirt reason I love all of your Princess pictures!

I'm what you call a character hunter. Before I met Dan. I would stay in one place from anywhere from 15 minutes to and hour to get the characters that I wanted to meet.

I only get to the park about 4-5 times a year as I live in the Seattle area, so I get to impatient for that. I am going in March so I will try it though :-p

If you didn't know with the Princess it takes anywhere from 30 mins to 1hr and 45mins to see them. What I have found out is when the parade goes on the lines are not that bad.
