If Your Flavorite DLR Attraction Was Edible, What Would It Taste Like?

Delicious Moments With Mr. Lincoln is where I would stop for lunch. His hat would be made of licorice. Abe's beard... black cotton candy. The pasta curtain would be the main course. Thanx Abe, for emancipating my tummy!

    I love questions like this.

My favorite attraction would have to be Pirates (Sorry Mansion!), but I'm not quite sure what it'd be like if it were edible. Let's see...

I guess the water would be grape juice, the sandy beaches would be piles of rice, and all of the skeletons would be morbid marzipan. It'd be too creepy to eat the AAs, but if I licked one I'm sure it'd taste like chicken. Oh, and the Black Pearl would be made outta piles of barbecued pork and mushrooms.

Also, if I could have another attraction for dessert, I'd definitely choose the Matterhorn. Just think of it: a mountain of ice cream, gelato, and sorbet!

I can imagine Space Mountain as a giant heap of white chocolate gelato. People in line can be sprinkles.

Would love to take a swim in the grape juicy waters... and lap it up! As for the chicken tasting charcters, I think that Capn Jack would be extra crispy. The Black bbq'd pork Pearl sounds sumptuous.

I'm picturing a giant hamburger patty trotting around on four legs. That's something that I could poor ketchup on and sink my teeth into. Bet it would have a real kick!

I'm thinking the mansion would taste like ecto pudding with grim grinning whipped cream piled on top.

I'd like to think the HMH would taste like Gingerbread and not what's under Oogie Boogie's green felt.

A wonderful misty drink of low lying fog in a glass with green apple for flavoring and color followed by a lovely Leota's Spaggetti and Giant meat ball with a side Bird,
Followed by a ORGANic salad and finished off with Uncle Thurls Famous Cemetrey Cakes!
    I am Scary Scott,

Re: If Your Flavorite DLR Attraction Was Edible, What Would It Taste Like?

I have a form of synesthesia where my senses are translated into each other whenever I perceive anything through smell/sight/sound, so I already "taste" all my favorite rides anyway without imagining them as edible.

But the way something "tastes" doesn't always equate to a food's flavor, so I can't think of food equivalents for most of the rides.

Mansion tastes bittersweet & earthy, like the color moss-green. Pirates is salty, of course, & somewhat like a mint julep. Space Mountain tastes metallic, like steel blue fire. Star Tours has the most luscious metallic taste (comes from its scent). Splash Mountain is earthy, like if bricks grew as vegetables. The Carrousel is like crunchy candy distilled from rainbow colors (the crunchiness comes from the sparkly lights). Tower of Terror tastes like an antique violet perfume spilled in a musty old attic. Now that I think about it, Indy has the most flavors out of any other ride at the DLR: brimstone, dark blue, bronze chimes, rainforest green trills, solar gold dancing, violet nebula, etc.

BTW, sorry if the descriptions seem overly silly. Those're the only word combos I could think of to convey how they taste to me.
