The Disneyland site lists the Golden Horseshoe as "closed for bar reconcept" during the dates of my upcoming visit. However, times are still listed for Billy Hill performances? Does anyone have information about this?
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"
I wish the Billies would get a permanent stage either in Critter Country or Big Thunder Ranch, and Disneyland would bring back the Golden Horseshoe Revue. "Reconceiving" the bar sounds too much like turning it into a full-fledged scramble-service restaurant.
I wonder if this is related to the upcoming "reconception" of the River-Belle Terrace?
