i almost forgot when you wish upon a star..oddly enough though as much i as i do like it..my favorite version is sung by gene simmons of kiss(you will find it on his 1978 kiss solo album)its surpriseingly well done
A lot of music reminds me of Disneyland, obviously, but my favorite works that take me right back into the park include "Yo Ho", all the variations of "Grim Grinning Ghosts", Michael Giacchino's Space Mountain soundtrack, Jerry Goldsmith's work on Soarin' Over California, the songs of Splash Mountain, and of course "When You Wish Upon a Star." The mishmash of music heard in Indiana Jones used to remind really, really strongly of the park, though that's been diminished slightly by listening to it so many times at home and by my increased familiarity with the film scores that the music is taken from.
Oh, and the HISTA theme. That's right...I love something HISTA-related!
Possibly an unfamilar song for others, but "Flying" from the Peter Pan Soundtrack always reminds me of Disney and I'm pretty sure it was used during the Year of a Million Dreams. Then there's the Teacups music, Yo Ho from Pirates and the Indiana theme music from the ride.
"...Gentlemen, I wash my hands of this weirdness."
Swissapolka was played by the organ at the top of the treehouse in the original Swiss Family Treehouse (now Tarzan's Treehouse). However, if you go to Tarzan's Treehouse now, there is a record player in one of the lower rooms playing Swissapolka on the record, as a tribute to the original treehouse.
Main Street Loop is what gets me the most! It reminds me of when I worked at DisneyWorld doing PAC shifts since the loop is the same there, everytime I go with my friends they make fun of me since I instanly know the music playing and hum along with it...oh the memories
