It labels Pirates and the Haunted Mansion as "future development." I had a later map which did picture the show buildings of Pirates and HM and labeled the areas of them even though it didn't illustrate the inside. I had my map basically memorized. I wish they would still make and sell these.
So with Space Mt. I'm assuming Liberty Square isn't going to happen.

Wow that framing reminds me of the current DCA concept map thingy. Wonder wher they got the idea from!

They have them, I have seen that style recently, however they were folded. I didn't see any of the rolled ones.

I don't think all of it can be blamed on Space.
Looks like some of that area is what we know as now as "backstage" area

In later years Edison Square and Liberty Street disappeared from the maps, for example here is a 1976 map:

I have a poster map from 1995, featuring the Indy attraction. I also have one of Tokyo Disneyland, but I really do not like its cartoon style, that is the only thing I have to complain about for that map. I wish they would go back to the old style for Disneyland.
The old maps were just so much more fun and interesting!
