got it at Disneyland during ther 50th birthday year....
with 50th logo! which was now 5 years ago
a special map made for that year

No it can't take the whole blame, but while backstage is easier to move, Space i feel is probobly staying for a while. :p There is still room back there for something (assuming the parade could be sent underground or something) but it would not be as grand as once planned. And how would they hide the backside of Space Mt.

Just have the cast member say, "Ladies and gentlemen, the back side of space."

Yep! They started selling these again a few months ago and I bought one. Don't know if they still do, but I got mine at the newsstand by the new Disney Gallery.

I like the huge poster maps, too. The one currently tacked on our office wall is the 40 Years of Adventure map. Has a few of my favorite, but long-gone, rides still on it. My collection goes way back though, and could use a new edition.

The only thing really wrong with the DL map is they have some of the colors wrong in Tomorrowland. The Astro Orbitor is excusable, but it still depicts the 'fake copper' paint scheme on Innoventions and BLAB.

I have a map like that, only mine's the 1958 one. I bought it during the 45th Anniversary, along with some pins.

Does anyone remember the first map they created with all the Kodak film ads...I still have like ten of them!
