    Aladdin's Oasis.....

Does anyone besides me think that this area is wasted space there are so many things that you could do with this area, I personally would bring back the Tahitian Terrace the park needs more Table Service Locations to help with the long food lines

The show is OK, but I would much prefer the Terrace. Disney needs more sit down eateries.

I love the show. I've seen it numerous times and never get tired of it. It's funny and a bit unscripted and the audience participation is always a hoot. To me, it is one of the little unappreciated gems of the Park.

I've also seen it numerous times and I completely agree. The show is actually
pretty good. And my kids like it.

However, I don't think that precludes it from being a sit-down eatery for
    dinner.

An authentic arabian themed dinner show would fit the bill nicely. Esp. since
the show shuts down at night.

Wasn't that the part that failed last time? The food was too authentic.

I think it is a fabulous show, but the Aladdin a Musical Spectacular is the best. I think it would be cool if they had a resturaunt kind of thing there. Somewhat like the Billy Hillbillies show.
    I miss the DUH show

Snowjaz I think that would be pretty cool to have a dinner and a play package but don't you think that it is a little too vegas? well for Disney at least?

    Re: Aladdin's Oasis.....

They should knock down the Aladdin facade, put the Tahitian Terrace stage back in (waterfalls and all), then in the front of the land, turn the waiting area (complete waste of space these days anyway) into a Tiki Juice bar with a view over the restaurant to the stage.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

I loved the show, too, but have only managed to see it once. I don't think it's well advertised, and since the show is so far removed from the walkway it's hard to know when it's open, if it's fun, or really anything about it. In fact, the one time we did see it my husband did NOT want to go. The only reason we went is because I had some "preferred seating" coupons in my travel package and was feeling compelled to wring each drop of benefit out of that package.

Turns out we both thought it was great. I loved how they included both kids and adults, and interacting well with the public is a different level of skill (in my opinion) than performing on a stage at a distance. I wish we could see it again.

    Re: Aladdin's Oasis.....

I saw the show for the first time two Saturdays ago, it was alright, but definately not worth a repeat visit.

I liked the theming and the colorful fabrics covering the back seating areas. Very nice.

But like I said, it's really not that great of a show in my opinion. Everybody in my group agreed, and said it was nice to see it and check it out just to say theyve done it before, but wouldn't do it again... But for what it is, the show is decent. A small 3-person "storytime" Not much you can really do with it, and the actors did very well and were appropriate and well seasoned in what they were there to do when something didn't go as perfectly planned as they hoped (especially with the kids from the audience who were called up to help out)

I don't know if another restaurant should go there (or if the restaurant should go back in there again) - it would certainly be nice, but really, from what I've seen I don't think the tourists care so much either way. Although, the Bayou does get packed - but in the end I'm really not too sure if the tourusts would really care too much either way..

I favor bringing in something that the Billy and the Hillbilles are doing right now. But it would be a little more child oriented and they could still have whatever Aladdin Storytelling they're doing right now. (Personally, I haven't seen it but want to check it out. Unfortunately, my group doesn't want to go).
