When will it be busy at Disneyland - 2010 Edition

Hey everyone! We just decided that we are going to the parks this Friday, January 29. My sister and I both have school off due to the end of the 1st semester. We were thinking that most people wouldn't have the day off so it wouldn't be crowded but I wanted your opinions! Thanks.

Well today was great! We walked onto Pirates at 11am (literally) and waited maybe 5 minutes for Haunted Mansion at 1120. Buzz had a 5 minute wait at 10ish. Matterhorn was about the same. We did wait for 30 minutes for Peter Pan (but I don't think that is atypical). Also Toy STory Mania had a 40 min. wait at 1ish. Good day to go, beautiful, and had the Monte Cristo at Blue Bayou....I'm craving more of it now!

Anyone have any idea why DCA is opening at 9am on Feb 8th (same time as DL opens)?? This doesn't look like the norm and although I realize that it is Lincoln's Bday for some kids (like mine in San Joaquin valley) I don't think most kids in LA/OC area have it off (except Long Beach)...still it seems a bit odd that both DCA and DL will open at the same time that day...


Oops, just looked again and saw that this isn't that unusual during the week at 10am seems to be the norm. Sorry

Hey gang! Trying to plan a trip this year and, of course, want to go sooner than later, spring vs. fall.
I was wondering about either the week of 4/18 - 4/22 or 4/25 - 4/29. I realize that the food and wine festival will just be starting, does that affect attendance that much? Also, there is a comic expo at the convention center the 16-18th.....

I am hoping to miss the spring break crowds, here in AZ we have break in March.

Opinions anyone?????

Ok, this will have some effect to the parks, but not that bad, as the Homeschoolers pick one of the slowest times of the year to attend. But if you go, and wonder why so many kids are in the park.

Hi all,

Disney was kind enough to reimburse my aunt and I our tickets from several months ago, but we only have six months to use them. My aunt can only go on weekends, and she is looking at the weekend of February 19 because it is a three day weekend for her. I know the parks are always busier on weekends and I wish we could do it another time, but these tickets were free and we are just glad to be able to go at all. So, how do you think that weekend looks? February 19, 20, 21. Thanks in advance!

If it is a Three day weekend for her, it is also a Three Day weekend for others...

LOTS of Holidays in February, at least you are picking one of the least popular.

It won't be quiet (no weekend is anymore due to the Annual pass program). Go and have a good time. Shouldn't be too busy, unless a large Cheer/Dance Group shows up.

Okay looking @ a summer getaway to D-land during July 4th-9th . Granted 4th of July will be pretty busy, I was there last year and it was pretty busy but I've seen worse. Anyway, what about the rest of the days the 5th-9th? I figured it possibly won't be as bad since its during the week, but then again it is summer . Any thoughts and help is always greatly appreciated.
