When will it be busy at Disneyland - 2010 Edition

I've been wondering about January too (we're heading out 1/9-1/12). 1/9 is the last day of Winter break for LAUSD, so that might be busy. NAMM starts on 1/13, which I think is big (there's a handy link to the Anaheim Convention center calendar waaaaay at the beginning of this thread: Welcome to the Anaheim Convention Center).

I am not joking about NAMM. There will be a lot of people driving to that convention (not staying over). Parking has been bad for the past two years during it.

We will be going next Monday thru Wednesday morning (Dec. 20-22). I am really hoping to see the night entertainment on Monday (which has lots of rain forecast). If it is raining and they decide to cancel shows...would it be Fireworks, World of Color, AND fantasmic?? Or is one more likely to be cancelled due to weather than the others?? We really hope to catch all of those events during our time there.

Closes at 9PM. Busier than average, how much busier depends on a lot of things. A lot of M-F/9-5 people will be getting that day off of work since 12/25 is a Saturday. Others will be prepping for 12/25, and can't get away.
So, in short: maybe it will be very busy.

With all the rain of the last few days...and the 4+ inches in the forecast for the next two days I am wondering if it will be a ghosttown in Disneyland tomorrow to Wednesday (even with it being the start of Christmas break). If I hadn't already made the reservations at the hotel I would be rethinking the trip (plus we have to drive 2 hours down to Disneyland and the drive is worrying me with all the flooding). Any guesses? Ghosttown? Still crazy busy?
