Fire at the Super 8 Motel near Disneyland - 360 evacuated

Just saw on the news this morning that the roof of the Super 8 Hotel in Anaheim was on fire this morning. Nobody was seriously hurt, but some of the rooms have been rendered uninhabitable.

It is the one on Disneyland Drive, next to the ARCO on Ball.

Oh how frightening!
We stayed there on our very first trip to Disneyland some 8 or 9 years ago. I actually looked into it again for our upcoming trip next month since many of the closer hotels are sold out (over Veteran's Day weekend). I guess a few folks will be displaced in the upcoming weeks.

We have stayed there, not a bad hotel.

With it being a Thursday night in October I'm sure the hotel wasn't full.

Thanks for the info, I will be sure not to book it for our November trip.

360 evacuated from motel fire near Disneyland

The roof fire at the Super 8 Motel caused no serious injuries.

ANAHEIM - An early-morning roof fire at a Super 8 Motel near Disneyland rousted an estimated 360 guests, but there were no serious injuries, officials said.

Hey, it is UEA week (All the Utah kids get off school).

They had a 75 minute wait for Splash yesterday afternoon, and 50 minutes for Space.
