Re: Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

I got in the hot seat at the attraction a total of 7 times I believe before it closed. My second time in the hot seat I won the million points and was the 3rd person to do so. I got all 15 pins, button, hat, shirt, leather jacket, big heavy medal, trip to New York (actually offered me a trip to WDW and I took them up on that offer instead of NY).

Re: Who Wants to be a Millionaire?

I saw it twice when I came home for the summer from Oklahoma- I was about 16 at the time. I was sitting in the audience, and the contestant in the hot seat did the "Phone a stranger" helpline, and the person who was on the phone was my Aunt Lisa. I couldn't believe it.

That was a good show, and now that you brought it up, I kind of miss it.

I saw the show a few times, never was in the hot seat. I thought it was a decent show. The set was done just like the show you see on TV, so it was really like being there. I was never sure it was a great attraction for the park, but it wasn't bad.

Yeah Gummi, they are worth a lot more than the average pin, I dont have my disney pin book on me but they have good value, I started collecting them, but have only traded two in the last couple of years. I would of loved to have played the game.

I gave all my pins to my daughter and she was able to trade them around the park. Whoops!

I enjoyed the show once. Didn't get on. My father-in-law was on a couple of times. I can't remember what he won. It was pretty cool, though.

Never got in the hot-seat, but I did sit in the "Ring of Fire" once, for correctly answering a Disney trivia question.

I don't have any pins, or the like...but I do have one of the seat buttons:

I never got a chance to participate in WWTBAM, but I think its a cool idea for anyone who DID participate in it. Whether the agreement ended or not, I think this attraction would have been taken out regardless.

I have some keypads as well. I believe most keypads out are from the WDW attraction.

When I won the million, I was sitting in a ring of fire seat on the floor, seat 7 to be exact. When the attraction at WDW closed, I was able to get the frame that the video monitor went in. It has the seat number at the top, the spot for the monitor below and then the keypad attached at the bottom. I had the full set of 15 pins framed using the monitor frame as a frame for the pins. Ill have to get a pic of it sometime and post it here....
