    Re: Disneyland Map Poster

I haven't seen 50th maps in a long time. They do have big park maps for sale at the Emporium. I have three big park maps professionally framed. Where I go is place in Fullerton Ca, called Pitcher This. They have been doing framing for us, Im guessing at least 20 years. Friendly staff and they do just an amazing job. They may not be able to get out every fold, but they will do their best and have worked magic on one of mine that had bad fold lines.

this is the 1978 map, it had really noticable creases before dry mounting. Sorry the pic is not very good and I don't know the size, I gave it to my sister.

This one i still have hanging in my house, in place of the other one(1978), the map its self is smailler then all the other ones. I also have DCA's poster map which is the smallest of all.

There is a crease that runs from between the fairy godmothers to in between lady and the tramp and grumpy. No visible in the photo and not at first glace and the framed work, but you can still see them if you are looking for them.

Basx both of those maps are really cool. Thanks for the pictures! The 1978 map is really charming with its little details. There's certainly more walking areas compared to the 50th anniversary map.

    Cool Re: Disneyland Map Poster

I just returned from DLR with my loot in hand. The map poster is humongous. Now I understand why you had to get it custom made. Thanks for all the information on where to find it. I decided to buy one from the Emporium on my way out.
The map was located by the cash register and folded up. You wouldn't know it was a map unless you picked it up and examined it. You can only see a tiny corner of the actual map because of the packaging.
The map has a lot of interesting details. I believe this is the same exact map as the 50th anniversary map. But instead of the fancy 50th logo it has Tinkerbell with the "Disneyland Resort" logo. I love how it shows the Parade of Dreams going down Mainstreet!
I'm thinking of getting it matted since I'm not fond of the blue border with the characters. But before that I really want to try steaming it to see if it'll actually take out the fold marks.

I'm pretty sure that the current map also has FNSV listed on it whereas the 50th Map just says "Future Attraction" over the lagoon.
