Here's a thought...in the present spacing of the Cinema attraction in my layout has a bit of a love-hate relationship with the monorail (which, of course, is thoroughly inappropriate thematically to 1930s Hollywood anyway!). So, how about if the showbuilding for the attraction were built up and around the monorail track, and then guests on the monorail could get a sneak-peak into the show scenes, just like the DLRR in Splash Mountain. The entrance and exit would have to be covered over with foliage to the edge of the park so the monorail itself wouldn't be visible coming or going.

This would fix a thematic problem for guests in Hollywoodland, and give guests on the monorail something to look forward to.

    What do you think?

Ooooooh I like, maybe it could make an appearance as an actual show piece in the Buck Rodgers sci fi scene.

And with the layout you showed where exactly would the entrance be?
Could you maybe whip up a scribblemap?
    Thanks

Bouncing some other ideas around, how does instead of an unnoffical warehouse to discover what if there was a museum on the bottom floor of the resturaunt jazz club.
On exhibit would be many artifacts and gags.
The reason for this is because there isn't as much space in the noir half of Hollywood to put a warehouse in.
There is space in the regal courtyard area and this way we can add another layer of interactive storytelling and enhance hollywoodland.
Ideally I'd put it in a warehouse but I'm afrad there isn't much space.

Basically the archways would be large enough to hide the ceiling from view when you're outside. One side of the courtyard could be the theater, and the other, the restaurant...
I just discovered this while poring over all your technical posts in preparation for the Grand Re-Release in Imagitation!
I never really meant for the theater and Jazz club to go under the showbuilding just the vignette scenes. I completely miscommunicated that in my post, apologies!

It might, but it would not go through often enough to show off every time a car rides through, so there would need to be enough going on in the scene anyway so that it wouldn't depend on the monorail. The other issue would be that it would have to be fairly unobtrusive in the other show scenes (probably passing through a total of three or four), but then noticeable in the Buck Rogers one without changing elevation.

You could do this fairly effectively by having some spotlights or other effects that go on and highlight the monorail whenever it happens to be passing through...

It would be roughly in front of where Muppets is now. I'm traveling at the moment, so I don't have much time to do visual aids...

You could give the effect of a few props that have been pulled out of a warehouse and "dusted off" to be used as decorations for the restaurant. Instead of a separate museum, these could be enhancements to the restaurant lobby and the queue for the attraction, so you can "tour" the museum while you're standing in line for the attraction.

S I've done most of the final draft just a couple bald spots in the tech specs area and some of the show scenes. I'll post them for your perusal whenever convenient.
Regarding the museum warehouse thing. I have incorporated the artifacts into both the queue and lobby and throughout the resturaunt, but i'd like a special place where it totally focuses on them and is a hidden gem. Nothing large scale but just a little something for guests to discover. I'm leaning towards having a small slice of mullets being the warehouse and several little facade buildings creating a little bit of a maze to get to it.

And finally regarding your map, I attempted one earlier today and it just came out atrociously. No rush on getting it finished and have fun on your travels!

So, for the Imagitition are you going to do a scaled-down version, or present it full-size and just accept some points off for not staying within the assigned footprint?

Sounds fun--having some sound or light gags and photo-ops here would be a great way to deliver more on the space.

I sincerely hope you meant "muppets"!!!!
