    Question about waiting time.

So, I was thinking about Disney wait times. The wait time posts are all at a certain point before the ride. They know the space between that and the ride, and should be able to at least guess how many people are in the line. By calculating that against the loading speed...aren't there "max" waiting times?

Am I just crazy? Or does anyone know the actual max waiting times for some of the attractions?

Also--what's the longest you all have waited?

100 Mins for Splash Mountain, broke my phone (wasn't cheap), water smelled terrible (idky) and it got cold by the time we made it to the loading zone. (and we got soaked)

Haven't been on that ride since

    Re: Question about waiting time.

My longest wait time was for Indiana Jones when it first opened. The line went through Adventureland, past Tiki Room, around the sidewalk on Main Street, up through the entrance of Frontierland, and wound around the rat maze. 2 hours comes to mind.... Never done anything like that since!

I would think the wait times are supposed to be guesstimates. There are so many variables as in someone having trouble entering or exiting the ride vehicle, a child balking at getting on a ride, handicapp ones being helped in (which catagory we fit into), etc.

Okay. I just knew that they could guess y'know, 5 minutes per 20 people ahead of you or something, so I didn't know what system they used.
