    Superstar Limo vs Monsters Inc

Which is a better ride in your opinion? I never actually rode Superstar Limo (it was a DCA original but closed and was replaced with Mike and Sully To The Rescue), but I can probably assume Monsters Inc. is better.

    Here is a video comparison:

Other than that, just discuss what used to be...

The main point of the thread is just to discuss Superstar Limo, but yeah a lot of people actually thought Limo was better....somehow. But then again a lot of people think it is a complete fail.

I have ridden both. Monsters is far better. Limo didn't seem to fit the Disney theme, but seemed to be advertising a lot of different shows that were on ABC. The cardboard cut-outs of the different stars were kinda scary. The most enjoyable ride I had on Limo was when it broke down and we got to walk off of it!

Hidden Mickey - Historical fiction about Walt that mixes action and mystery with time travel and fantasy! Tweens to adults will enjoy these novels. And now, three gamebooks to play in Disneyland, DCA and WDW Magic Kingdom!

Monsters Inc is the perfect definition of a nice, family C-ticket dark ride that every park should have.

Me and Kritter were just having this discussion a few days ago. lol

I prefer Monsters Inc, although I've never been on Superstar Limo. The agent guy in superstar limo kinda creeps me out.

Superstar Lamo wasted 1.5 hours of my life that I can never get back (DCA Preview day). It was such a waste that even carnivals have better rides IMO.

Monsters's Inc. is definitely a C ticket family ride that at least has interesting stuff to look out for.

Occasionally you'll find a ride that's so bad that it's actually entertaining. Superstar Limo was one of those rides...I actually enjoyed it.

I agree. And this fit more into the Hollywood theme than Monsters Inc.

After seeing that clip, I don't see how that attraction was ever green-lit? I'm so confused by it.

The thing with Monsters Inc is that it would have much better had it been the original idea. They were stuck with having to overlay this mess of a ride though. Had it been first, its layout would be much cooler and make more sense.

Re: Superstar Limo vs Monsters Inc

I prefered Superstar as an attraction. Monster's Inc is done much better, but it bores me. The sets are plain and expansive, the AAs limited and still, and the ride trolls through slowly for the lack of eye candy. Superstar was cheese to be sure, but the idea of the attraction worked much better and there was plenty to look at. If they had done Superstar Limo closer to reality as a madcap drive through classic LA, then it would be no question.
Women, they make the highs higher and the lows more frequent.
