Glass Elevator Disneyland Hotel

I got an email from a cast member saying that the glass elevator at the Disneyland Hotel was being removed (as we speak). Can anybody confirm this with pictures or eye witness account? Not that I don't believe them I just wanted to see for my own eyes.

Soon there will be nothing left of the older, wonderful features of the Disneyland Hotel. This elevator dates back to 1962 when the Hotel opened its first Tower Building.

u sure they are not just going to replace it to match the new exterior? doesnt make sense to remove it (IMO)

I hope it's more of what ItsFREAKS said.... I would hate if it were truly gone for good. I always thought it was cool.

i understand that. & hopefully im just in denial but, being completely removed could be true, if it were to be replaced by a new elevator.

what does this CM do for Disney?

i'd speak with someone directly @ the hotel (if no1 finds out 100% by then, ill speak with someone @ the hotel on saturday)

It would make sense to refurbish or replace the elevator now while the tower is under construction. It's not very likely they'll do something that would inconvenience guests with physical disabilities when the remodel is done in this world full of lawsuits.
