Do you like the way Silly Symphony Swings looks so far? Is the concept strong enough?

The concept is burly.
Executing it, that remains to be determined.
Although, based on the photo, is seems as
if the size of the boardwalk queue is what is going to
entice the attraction altogether as oppose to
the ride itself.
Personally, I believe the only thing that can save this bad attraction concept is a themed queue. Hopefully that is what they are doing below. They should also remove those stairs at the front of the attraction and enter starting at the bottom.
So far, it's definitely an improvement over the rotting orange. I can't wait till the queue goes up.
My vote is "Yes."
if we are going for carnival, then yeah, it looks good

-Al LutzTo that end I'd like the Internet community to join me in reminding the Disney company that "it all started with Walt." As you can see below we've created some T-shirts, plus a few simple graphics that you can copy and paste into your websites to let folks know how you feel.
Looks good, and I love the theme of being at the band concert and being swept up ina tornado. So whimsical and fun.
It is a carnival swing ride. They can dress it up all the want. Knott's has the same exact thing with Mexican theme just down the road.
Nothing unique or Disney about it except the murals and name.
It is really a shame that they have spent SO much money to do nothing to this ride.
does anyone have the concept picture for comparison? I can't seem to find it right now.

Yes.
Anything referencing Silly Symphonies is great in my book. Classic Disney.

I think one of the more confusing elements of the ride is that it doesn't seem to reference any Silly Symphony shorts at all, other than by its name. "The Band Concert" was a Mickey Mouse short, not a Silly Symphony.
I guess the name was chosen because it technically involves a "silly symphony" and because it's nice alliteration.
Most, if not all, Silly Symphony shorts were Mickey Mouse shorts- and few had any previous Disney characters in them including Mickey Mouse.
I have a feeling Walt only used Mickey's head on the intro of each SS to get people to see the films and use Mickey's rising star power to his advantage.
