Yeah, well. Ok, so I'm being a little modest, I'll admit that.

Well you did a fantastic job so no need to act like it wasn't :)
Way way back when during my uni phase I wrote up an idea of a Jason Bourne test track style ride where in cars of four one was driver and the two in back had guns (this would be a little heavy for disney maybe) and kind of like in mission space they each have a specific job so throughout the ride depending on how they each performed like for instance when the driver is cued to turn if he misses it the ride would continue straight or if he hit it the ride would turn but only at certain times. The gunners in back could maybe shoot a tree down or something to make the other car change course to really ramp up the interactivity and increase competition between guests.
Just a thought.

That would be pretty sick (as in cool, sick). But yeah, I think that would be a little out of Disney's range. Just a little bit too violent, I'd think.

I was thinking about it at polo and maybe the storyline could be that the gangsters have an ace mechanic who crazy modded their car so it could have oil spills or tacks pop out the back then the guest could just push a button or pull a lever, keep the driving wheel. The police could have radio activated road spikes or barricades etc that could lead to the car spinning out or jumping, all sorts of cool stuff.

I don't think that that'll work too well. The ride would be a little confusing with so many things going on. So, I think I'm gonna keep it the way I described it before (or fairly similar).

I'm going to have to agree here...the extra effects don't deliver enough "bang" to warrant their explanation or the further suspension of disbelief.

Yeah that would be a much different ride than he intended
Re: Hollywoodland's E-Ticket Attraction
I want this ride very much! Good job on the 2 different experience ideas. if only Armchair Imagineers ran the DLR, all these great possibilities and ideas that could be made. This is very creative
Re: Hollywoodland's E-Ticket Attraction
That is some good old fashioned hard work right there!

...But just to clear things up, I kinda messed up while posting. For my original idea I had a police car chasing a prop gangster car. But later on, I changed my mind to have the guests in police cars chase guests in gangster cars. But I guess it could still go either way. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say here.
Not too sure that this would work. If you have two separate cues, one cue is going to be more popular than the other. It's not as if people are going to randomly choose a cue. Eventually there will be no one to chase/be chased by.
