first photo adventure

first photo adventure of DCA and disneyland (later). I hope you enjoy them because I suspect I was a nuisance randomly stopping to take pictures....

So all the photographs were taken with a film camera... so they'll have some grainyness to them but I'd like to think that that adds to the charm of the pictures.. *shrugs*

Anywho, starting off with California Adventure (taken all the way back on the 10th of January)



then the Golden Zephyrs at around sunset



and from a minute before that



from earlier in the day (never claimed these would get in order) a reflection in Hollywoodland I believe



sunset with mickey's fun wheel (and as a friend calls it - mickey's wheel of death)



I loved the clouds that day...




I take a whole lot of pictures of lamps and lanterns and such... so here's one

it might be a repetitive picture... but hey...




near the bathrooms



and lastly ariel's grotto from the golden zephyrs


They'll be more up tomorrow possibly if anyone's interested from disneyland

Wow, these pictures look great! It's amazing how you almost forget what film pictures look like.
They have such a beautiful, warm quality to them, almost surreal.

this one just has an odd look to it that I like...

New Orleans Square:



a weeping angel (a doctor who reference for any whovians out there)

now... this is probably the only thing I like about the celebrate promotion- those hats.

ok i overreacted a little

but i remembered when i was there and i tried taking a picture of BTM at night, and it looked sooo gorgeous on my little teeny tiny camera screen, then i put it on the computer and it didn't turn out as great as it did on the camera screen

Fantasyland:



now there's an elusive white bird in the lower left corner of the screen...


it was plenty misty by this time....

the birds over here were very very daring... I was taking some pictures of these birds upclose and then a group of them just swam over to stare at me then one got out of the water and sat on the pavement looking at me...




I love all of these models - unfortunately there were some broken benches and such probably from birds looking for a place to sleep.

I know what you mean... sometimes pictures end up far better than what you thought they were and far worse as well. That's photography - trying to get more good results then bad...
