we don't know whether Little Squirt has been cut from the show or not.. but we do know that he took part in show testing at one point.

Most likely not. He wants people to be surprised by the show and to not have the answers before hand. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they were waging a disinformation campaign against us. Especially with all the video we've seen.

But no, I doubt he'd answer a question about show content. Design process, how he feels about things, etc sure... but not a direct content question.

Don't agree. The Alice Characters are very popular and bring Disney lots of Money.

    My thoughts...

    1) The film has a very modern look that was ahead of it's time in my opinion. The animation is really fun and clever. (Love the chase at the end.)
    2) The 'Unbirthday song' and 'I'm Late' are great beloved songs. (Not all of the the songs in the movie stand out winners, but then are simply there to move the story along. Somewhere I heard that Alice has the most song of any Disney movie BTW.)
    3) Dark Ride at DL and Maze at Paris DL.
    4) Have you seen all the merchandise of the characters. There is quite a bit of it.
    5) The characters can be seen in the parks daily. Can't say that for lots of other movies.
    6) A successful 3D movie by Tim Burton just came out and so using the animated movie would make a lots of sense.

We have no idea about the final WofC show and the Alice segment might not be in the show not because it's weak, but maybe to push a 'brand' that they have future plans for.

They are focusing on Mermaid right now, I believe, to tie into the upcoming ride at DCA which they will be wanting folks coming to see WofC to return to see next year.

We really won't know till previews, and then it might change when they get the audiences response.

Regarding Little Squirt...once again from World Of Color | Water Spectacular | Disney's California Adventure Park I still find this quote below intriguing. (my bolding)

Imagine more than a thousand brilliantly colored jets of water soaring over 200 feet in the air, rhythmically moving in time to the music. Water sprays form incredible shapes that become the supporting performers — and are liable to steal the show!

The fountains in the planters are still being incorporated into the show right? I hope they are.

I'd say there's a 100% chance the planter fountains are to be used.

I'd put Little Squirt at 95%. "He" was a big part of the "Disney magic" theme.

I'd also agree about the disinformation. They'd LOVE to lower our opinions, I think, as the more we think they'll chop it all to bits and cut out the good stuff and the flow of the story, we'll be all the more wowed if it then meets or exceeds what we originally hoped for.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker IX

Aw man, I wanted to post all the new info for today! Lots of stuff! Great updates everyone! I was a little peeved when I saw the banners for the BSC, and when I went in there was no actual countdown. just a few changed displays(already mentions) and new videos of WoC testing(same stuff we've seen but longer) in the entry area, with WoC music playing. I wouldn't be surprised if a countdown clock will be added tomorrow or over the weekend!

And as far as the umbrellas are concerned, I personally welcomed them, especially when I was relaxing in the benches and baking in the sun(until I saw the umbrellas were there) and are pretty nice looking. Also I haven't seen this mentioned, but They've added some sort of rail along the boardwalk fence. It looks odd, there about a foot high and look like spikes pointing outward toward the lagoon. They seem odd because they look like they would block people from climbing from the lagoon, not too it. Wish I had some pics.

I know the basic layout, won't say much, but it will be much bigger than the temp pathway they had, and it will open sometime in August.

Thank you, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I'm still trying to figure out what they're for, they just look odd to me.

Look at the bottom of the fences, you can see them, the spike-looking things.
