TSI/PL Question????

So everytime i go to Tom Sawyer's Island(Or Pirate's Lair whatever you prefer), i look inside the old Fort Wilderness(I believe that's what it was called), and all i see are tractors and stuff.

My question is what all is in there, and what is it used for? '

I had imagined that it was used as some sort of storage for fantasmic, but all i ever see is machinery...

I've hear the CMs use it for preparation for Fantasmic. I know they need storage for that, but what a waste, as well as a conflict of theme.
