those security check stations were suppose to be removed and new ones built six years ago. i really wonder what happen, my guess is that TDA reshuffled the money to bigger priorities in their book.so that's the one that lost the brake pad....or shoe...or...whatever the brake thing they were talking about in the other thread.

Oh I'm sure Tokyo's version will definitely fix and correct things that are skewed elsewhere. Tokyo defines Disney, and redefines what other Disney parks NEED to be.Haha, its funny cause most people never even realize that. But im sure Tokyo's version will fix that
For the common guest, it's not. But for people like me, who've seen the show dozens of times, it starts to bug. Because we never see Mickey fall asleep, and we never see him wake up. All we see is the dream.
I'm asking why though. We know from the setup that this is a dream, so how would a corny shot of Mickey resting his head on his hands in a cozy bed help the story?
Also, the "and then it was all a dream" ending usually ruins a good story, so they probably wanted to avoid that.
But it's stated *explicity* in the introduction that he's dreaming. What more do you need than a big voice saying "MICKEY'S DREAMING!"?

Its funny that they did that to hide Indy's building, while Soarin and HPB/BVS stick out like sore thumbs.
At least Soarin' is themed appropriately.

Soarin' is themed to be an aircraft hangar and the Hollywood Pictures Backlot is themed as a backlot, complete with soundstages. Copout, maybe, but within theme.

They fit the themes of their lands, sure.. but from the Esplanade they are eyesores. Disneyland tried hard to hide the box buildings visible from outside the park, while DCA's stick out.
