It looks like they are replacing some woodwork at the Newsstand:

It's too early to tell, but maybe the Newsstand is being refurbed to match the other Esplanade buildings.

I guess it doesn't really matter seeing as it's on the other side of the globe.

No, all it does is make me just that more jealous of TDL and their incredible Halloween decorations.

Honestly though, I don't know if I would have even noticed the cheesecloth if you hadn't mentioned it, such a small part of a very cool display.

It would be so cool if Disneyland would at least buy Tokyo's old decorations each year.. Start putting displays in the planters and all. Halloween Time has gotten so big here, I really thought they would do something like. Oh well.. maybe they have it budgeted in the future. Even no Halloween Micky Floral this year. Thought that would come back with the party at Disneyland now.. I know, too many expectations!

I was hoping for that as well. I love seeing the new florals as they put them up.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Even though they were closed, I noticed light coming out from between and underneath the doors to the Star Tours extended queue last night. I peaked through the opening between the doors and it looks like they pealed off all the aluminum trim and Star Tours layerings on the walls. The walls were solid black (which reminded me of the early ATIS exit area days). The railings along the PeopleMover/Rocket Rods track was removed. It was quite dark with lots of work lights in there, and the queue railings are still in place.

I really am surprised that the park dosent have any significant additions decorations wise with the Halloween party being moved over there this year.

I just hope TDA hasn't decided that with Halloweentime being such a huge succes already, that they don't need to keep adding to the parks.
I would hate to see Disneyland lose any of the ground they've gained over the past few years.

I visited the park this past saturday and I must say it felt like there was actually less to look at in terms of halloween decorations. Are they done or is this it?

I think they add decorations after the park closes before the halloween party.
