That's a fair point. Isn't the schedule from April to May usually: Mon-Thurs, Opens @ 9 closes at 10 and Fri-Sun. Opens @ 8 and closes at 12?

I'll be interested to see what they're installing here next to the restrooms. The vertical rebar looks intriguing. Nice to see they're still going ahead with some of the enhancements.

Just a new dock, they ripped out all the wooden docks (including the Canoe dock) and are replacing them with concrete ones.

They have not been jumping since late last year. So it likely has nothing to do with the River construction. Hopefully they get them going again. Always cool to walk through there and see kids go nuts when they see the fish jump.

And the weather this winter has just made predicting reopening dates even more difficult.

I doubt that that is it. They lost a couple days, but that can be easily factored in to a new finish date. Its easier to assume that they are being cautious due to the delays and disappointment they faced with Murphy, and simply that everything is taking a bit longer than planned.

They delayed it and removed the date for a reason. So yes they did get the memo.

There are tadpoles in the river too.
When my brother and I were younger we were throwing bread into ROA and swarms of them attacked the bread. So exciting as a little kid.

The fish I was asking about was in the pond opposite Thunder Mountain where the old Mine Train tunnel is. I may be wrong, but I think there was a similar jumping fish in ROA that the boy on the log was trying to catch. It has been a while since I took a spin on Mark Twain or Columbia so it could have been removed.
