I now there could be implications such as major loss of revenue to the city and loss of work for people, but I always felt Disney needs to start buying up the surrounding hotels to utilize the land to expand.

Love your images! Love the skill of the artists who create such joy everywhere in the park. I notice! Plant on! Capture on!

That's awesome, all it needs now is to get rid of Tinkerbell.

Yea, but more rides means less people on the pathways and more on the rides.

Are you sure that's one of the original Keel Boats? It looks way to small and the window design is also different.

If it is the Gullywumper, it wasn't just refurbished it was completly redesigned.

I also do not think it the original keel boat. I saw pictures when they were first building that boat when it was just a plywood shape. So if it was the original, wouldn't they just place it there on those new footers they built in that little alcove area and not need to actually construct a new boat?

    News from Saturday, 4/3/10:

Trams with doors: there was one tram with doors parked where they park the unused trams in the Pinocchio lot.

In the evening, there was another on the M&F tram route. There were no riders, they seemed to be just doing dry runs to empty tram stops.

    On to RoA:

Looks like they were taping interviews, maybe for an upcoming podcast:

Also, on PotC, it looks like they have done some more improving on the armory room. The three barrels overhead were not just swaying gently, they were swinging and twisting quite a bit.

To me it looks like the Gullywumper is built from scratch. The original was longer with three windows.

All Disneyland attractions are shut down. There are reports that the Haunted Mansion has reopened. Also, people are reportedly stuck in the Disneyland Hotel elevators.

EDIT: It was previously reported by ABC7 that people were trapped in the Disneyland Hotel elevators, but that has turned out to be false.
