I'm kind of bumbed about the Jewel of Orleans removal. Thats one of the few shops left in Disneyland that doesn't sell your typical cheaply-made Disney-fied souvenirs and gifts. Any news on what it might be raplced with?

I agree with you on this one RCT3. The Disneyland shops are no longer diverse. They don't have the personality that Jewel of Orleans had. I wish the park stores would go back to being diverse for each land.

A Princess and the Frog Souvenir Shop. Try to contain your excitement!

But I hope it's a unique shop like what was there before. I have some faith this store won't become another Disney filled shop because they did a great job in not turning the Magic Shop into one.

I think Jewel of Orleans is far to small to be a souvenir shop. I'd go for a mini version of the Disney Gallery, maybe featuring the small models they sell and a few paintings.

Would anyone be surprised if they combined Jewel and the small pin shop to make a larger pin store?

Someone a while ago mentioned a rebirth of the "One of a Kind Shop".

That would be a great shop to have again in there. I am tired of seeing all the stores in Disneyland and DCA all sharing the same products. If I go through Frontierland, I don't want to see Buzz Lightyear toys on sale there. It just breaks the theme for me.

Sorry to say, but I had yet another dream about Murphy last night, and it had me thinking...

If there's anything that they need to focus the most on the tweaks for Murphy, it should be the wings. I thought it was so appalling for the fact that I thought they even though she finally made her debut to the audience, they'd still have time to tweak the movement of her wings, yet nothing happened.

I'm just hoping by the time the RoA is finished with the refurb, they would have some time to fix her wings, because it looked so awkward seeing her wings barely move at all.

Good point, Sorcerer Dan. I had never really thought about the wings until now.

It'd also be great if they could lose the "inflatable" look.

Not sure if this was previously mentioned or not, but has anyone else heard of or seen the new three-seater cars on Matterhorn. Are they all just three-seaters now?

I noticed a newer looking covered bobsled when we were at the park on Sunday. Someone posted a Youtube video about a new bobsled design that was yet unkown when to debut in another thread involving the Matterhorn; But she just showed me a image that she recieved on her phone of the bobsled being uncovered.

I wonder if they're doing test runs with it now.
