In this shot, notice that they planted Toleson's weeping juniper on the riverbank. These are the same trees planted around the Haunted Mansion. They are still small but when they get bigger they give you the same visual effect as a weeping willow, but without the mess of leaves, and they do better in southern California with less water.

No, they use Belgians and Percherons which have a milder temperment than Clydesdales, in oother words their more people friendly.

I was there last night and walked around the ROA where I noticed that some tech CMs were working on some of the Fantasmic! speakers.

I assume that they will be testing the equipment for the show soon.

I'm sure they have to put in some rehearsal hours... they might also have some new performers that need rehearsal also.

Fantasmic! has been in near-constant rehearsals since April.

Wow! The area where the mine train was has been cleaned up SO much! It looks great!

    ...

Too great, if you ask me. It now looks like there should be a ride to go through on those tracks and that's rather depressing as nothing is/will be.

They should have left the train and just fixed it up a little.

I don't believe Clydesdales have ever been used in the park, their a little to jumpy to be used in DLs small parade route.

Okay I'm curious now, but WHERE do they rehearse?? Obviously it wasnt on the river, so where do they do it?

And how full of a show is it when they do rehearse? I mean do they perform just certain acts or do they try and do the entire show using mock ups, barges etc?

it would have been interesting if they had even added an area for goats to climb around in near the frontierland side so that guests on the river got to see them having a good old time climbing rocks.

They coould have added a couple broken crates marked dynamite lol

now with all the new babies they have more goats than the farm will handle.

i wonder if the train was in such a bad state that it could not be moved without it falling apart.
