I've done this tour with my then girlfriend. It was a blast and we did it before all the construction walls went up. It a was a great time and we had some really fun tour guides. If you don't mind waiting a few years I'd suggest going when the refurb is done and you have a wide open park.
I'll have to take this when I'm down... Segways are great fun, though I'm used to the older variety with steering from the handgrip. It'll be nice to try the new models with lean-steer, which doesn't work so well where I live due to too many hills (on lean-steer, going down a hill at any other direction than straight tends to make you curve if you keep the handlebar upright).
