    Question Disney Music

On my IPod Touch I have songs from disneyland in it peppered in the mix between different rock songs.
Anyhow one day I was driving my car (a 1978 corolla if you wanted to know)
With my mom and my Ipod hooked up to my stereo when suddenly The song in the tiki tiki tiki room came on. I started to listen to it when my mom made a face at me. I kill the sound and ask, whats wrong?
She looks at me and tells me "thats creepy for a grown man to listen to disney music in his car."
I said its not creepy its cool.
she then goes Yeah cool if your 5. Whats up with you man? are you a creeper?
I get hurt that she asked me that because Im no creeper. So I wanted to know, Is it creepy that I listen to disneyland music in my car sometimes?

P.S. My fav disney song to listen to in my car is the Main Street Electrical Parade cause It feals like Im driving in the parade
    I am Scary Scott,
Call me a turn coat, a lunatic, loup garou, or skin walker. Shape shifter, lychanthrope, A moon watcher, or just crazy.
I am Scary Scott, The steampunk, brony, author of Northern CA, that has just moved to Southern CA!
Poor? Yes. Money? Forget about it, I got none! If I had it, I wouldn't for long, I want too much stuff!
Disneyland for me is my absolute favorite place on earth, So I am the oddest werewolf you ever will meet.

I don't think it is creepy. Then again, I'm 44 years old and have over 1400 songs from Disney Parks in my iTunes. If it is creepy, I guess I'm right there with you. I know we are not alone in our Disney music obsessions and enjoyment. That is why we have Mouse World Radio amongst others.

Ouch. I would have back handed her if my mom said that.

Okay, I wouldn't have. But I would have been like wtf.

Well if it's creepy to listen to Disney movie/theme park music in your car, then I'm definitely a creeper. I blast that stuff!

ouch, that's pretty mean. It's not creepy at all. Some of the music Disney has made is some of the most well composed music I've ever heard.

Fantasmic! and Fantillusion, in my opinion, have two of the most beautiful scores out of anything Disney has produced.

Music- no matter what kind or type- is meant for you to listen and enjoy the music.

I don't think you have a problem- but your mom does. She needs to be open minded.

I suppose that makes a lot of us creepers, then. No worries, you're in good company!

A word of caution, though - listening to the score to the Indiana Jones Adventure while driving a Jeep down the freeway is risky. If you're anything like me, you may have to fight the urge to do strange things with the steering wheel.

    Re: Disney Music

Heeeck no! My stereo was stolen out of my car early last year but whenever I am driving my mom's car, I am always blasting my Disney music- especially the ride soundtracks. I rock back and fourth when I'm singing along to "How Do You Do". I couldn't care less what people think when they see me. I'm happy!

    Re: Disney Music

I must be in the minority then because I think it is creepy.

I don't have any Disney music on my iPod or in my iTunes (unless you count "We Are Here to Change the World" from Captain EO, but I consider that plain old pop music, not Disney).

As a 54 year old who has uses the Haunted Mansion organ as my ringtone, I don't think it's weird.
Still driving a 78 Corolla, now THAT'S weird!
Tell your Mom you'll ditch the Tiki Room music if she'll buy you a new car. Then play Small World instead.

Some people get Disney -some donīt.

Sometimes, when i am Disney(home)sick, i listen to a soarinī-audioloop for hours. So what?

Listen to Disney in your car doesn'tīn make you creepy!

Driving your car and thinking you are in a parade on the other hand...
