No, no, no, you guys got it all wrong! The newest addition to the Jungle Cruise will be animatronic skippers that are connected to the internet. That way, they can process more information and communicate even more bad puns and hilariously lame jokes! And if you're lucky at night, they'll be able to read off smutty emails in their inboxes!
Note my sarcasm.
wow so itll be open for the drunk press on the day its closed!

along with the added loop there will be a launch start
You would think that being in New York for eight months out of the year would be cool...not when the closest thing you have to Disneyland is the World of Disney Store on Madison.
This just in from Mouseplanet:
"Rumble in the Jungle
According to MousePlanet columnist David Koenig, guests should not be alarmed about show elements disappearing from the Jungle Cruise in mid-February—two weeks before the ride went down for refurbishment. One former skipper wondered if the early removal of the “native uprising” was a bow to political correctness.
A current Adventurelander puts him at ease: “Although I can see how what the ex-skipper said about the native uprising scene could be perceived as a [public relations] move in the same vein as the semi-recent Pirates [of the Caribbean] updates, this is not the case. The native uprising, along with the baboon family on the Veldt, and the alligator before Schweitzer Falls were simply taken out about a week before the ride went down just to get a head start on the refurbishment, and nothing more.
“That being said, we should be expecting a very different Jungle when the ride comes back up May 5. On the Thursday before the ride went down for rehab, skippers took some [Walt Disney Imagineering] people around, and they were pointing out things that they want to change during the rehab—and there were a lot of them. I'm sure some will be nixed because of budget concerns, but some of the things they were saying were very ambitious, and will add new technologies to the ride and a new level of skipper interaction with the surrounding scenes.”

They plan to take out the un PC native village and add in some light industry. This hilarious scene will be 3 metal shedlike buildings with Gorillas playing with open boxes of sneakers, another with light bulbs. This is a great logo spot for corporate sponsorships like.. Nike, GE and others. The other side of the river is where they celebrate the felling of a Lion. This is where there will be a sign "future home" of one of those S. African Casinos, like MGM.
This is just a rumor. False till proven true..or funny... whatever comes first.

all of this sounds good to me!
I heard that the new figures on the totem pole (you know where the rhino wants to get his point across in the end?) will feature AA figures of Pressler, Harris, and Eisner on the Bottum so he can get the point in the end!!!!
Isnt Jungle cruise one of the rides thats getting something gold plated? Perhaps a golden elephant? MWAHAHA!

Oh please no! All we need is for them to take and make a Jungle Cruise under new management. Changing the Tiki room in FL was enough-- let's not make a silly change like that here at the original joint. hpmh! That's just me though I guess.Originally Posted by AmandasDad
I love the lines from this attraction. Is that posted online somewhere? I thought I remember seeing that before. Does anyone know?
