If one E-Ticket was to be demolished...

If Disneyland had a lavish, multi-million dollar new AA spectacular ride, lasting about 15 minutes, say, with a awesome theme....Western River Expedition level of quality, for one that wasn't built, or same level as Pirates or HM, but one existing large-scale E-ticket had to be demolished to make way for it....which would you chose to vanish?

Purely a thought exercise, this isn't to say you hate the ride you select...give your reasons, your thoughts behind it. This is unlikely to come true, after all, for any of the attractions listed, and I don't have personal dislike of any of them in any major way. Just for fun, as it were. So which would get the demolition order to make way for the big, new, theoretical AA extravaganza ride?

    Choices to go away:
    Pirates
    Haunted Mansion
    Indiana Jones
    Big Thunder
    It's A Small World
    Space Mountain
    Star Tours
    Matterhorn
    Splash Mountain

i would say Finding Nemo b/c that ride isn't all that spectacular. but if i had to choose from your list, Star Tours. i know the Star Wars franchise has been a part of Tomorrowland for years, but i'm not a Star Wars fan so i could do without it ; )

Star tours, easily. Its fun for what it is but IMHO is outdated and pretty much boring.

P.S. why isnt Splash on the list? Its pretty much as E-Ticket as you can get...

I agree with Star Tours, actually, as the one I'd miss least/would cause less fuss than Small World, which I don't enjoy as much, but I understand means a lot in terms of the Park's history.

And good point, I did overlook Splash..editing to add it to the list now.

Well this is less about what actual physical space there is/the replacement attraction, than it is a thought exercise to see what people wouldn't mind parting with

Well for me, Splash. But I know others love it and I admit something would be missing from the west side without it. So I say Indy. By far the least 'classic'.

I too vote Star Tours. It's horribly outdated.

I'd say finding nemo. The footprint is way to big, and if they were to rid of autopia and the peoplemover tracks, that would open up a huge amount of space for a new land to be built. Disneyland would be a much more full park. Especially if they were to build another new land where CircleD and FOF are. My dreams

Re: If one E-Ticket was to be demolished...

I agree with most of the others so far in that I wouldn't miss Star Tours. In my most recent visits to the park, I haven't even glanced in the direction of this ride's queue. I think I have the "been there, rode that" mentality for this attraction that I'm not even sure that an update might alleviate...

I was going to with Screamin or ToT, since they are in DCA. Screamin, so that they could TRULY makeover that part of DCA, and ToT since it's only 2nd comparred WDW's version.

But, since you only list DL attractions, it's easy to choose Star Tours, since that is going away. Next up, I would say Small World, but I would miss the Christmas version. How about taking away a location that USED to house an E-Ticket, that being the Innoventions building, or the Pooh ride.

Innoventions would definitely be a wise choice to replace with something nicer, but I still would want to see Star Tours vanish and be upgraded. As for ToT...I'd only agree if they closed it and upgraded it to Florida level, I still like it as is and would rather have it in current form than not have it at all.

Since Nemo won't count, Id go with Indy. Not fast, just boring and jerky and huge snakes.
