I'm going to DLR for New Years...
I've never been outside the city
of Tucson for New Years...
What do they do at DLR? Anything
special? Party hats? Fireworks
at midnight? Anything??? Other than
the proverbial LE pin release...
what can I expect?
And who, if any of you, will be there?
Be prepared to party with about 80,000 of your closest friends!

DL usually opens a little later. It's definitely lighter attendance
than at Midnight, of course. Depending on whether or not 1-1
is a block out day does affect attendance. But it's kind of sad
too, because some of the Christmas stuff begins to disappear.
There's definitely that "the party's over" feel hanging over DL.
Critter Country's a mess ev'r since the Country Bears were kicked out. I was at DL on New Year's Day two years ago, it was pretty crowded, DCA, wasn't too bad, but when is it ever? NYD is right at the end of when Haunted Mansion Holiday and Small World Holiday and all the rest are open for the season. So people are rushing to get their final rides on the attractions.Is New Year's Day still super busy or does eveyrone who was up the night before go home?
