Question Anyone but me tired of Toy Story in the Parks?

Anyone but me tired of Toy Story at the Park, they're in a parade, a show (army men), Two Rides, Woodys in Frontierland and Buzz in Tomorrowland, and soon to have a musical and will also be in WoW I mean....god they're everywhere.

I believe he is saying Woody is in Frontierland and Buzz is in Tomorrowland as meet n greet characters.

^He means that as two seperate ideas. There's BLAB and TSMM, and Woody is represented in Frontierland as well as Buzz being represented in Tomorrowland.

If Toy Story 3 is as good as the first two, guests won't be able to get enough Toy Story at Disneyland, at least during this summer of 2010. But if it's disappointing, many people will soon agree with you.

Re: Anyone but me tired of Toy Story in the Parks?

i'd rather have original ideas over Pixar or Disney movie repesentation, but since that obviously isn't happening, i'd still rather have Pixar over Disney. and while the Pixar representation does seem a bit Toy Story heavy, it doesn't really bug me too much.

[edit]: before i get jumped for putting Disney in the backseat, i'm mainly talking about Disney's recent attempts.. not the classics.

According to management Toy Story is better then Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Mary Poppins, and Cinderella. Yeah right....

^ I'd plan to devote 3 hours of my time writing up a really long post on modern disney in general, including this, but don't have the time now, maybe summer.

Don't forget Woody is also in IASW. Now, that I object to. Not even that it's from a film and has nothing and I mean nothing to do with the theme of the ride. But because it's just so horribly, horribly done.

I don't watch the parades or shows, so I haven't OD'd on them from those. I do wish there was a little less Pixar overall, but that's what kids are most familiar with. And what probably sells the most merchandise. And forget the hokey pokey, selling merchandise is really what it's all about.

If you need help, just PM me. I'm pretty good at bashing current Disney management.

Re: Anyone but me tired of Toy Story in the Parks?

I'm not tired of Toy Story being represented in the Parks, its a good film series so they deserve credit....

However, nothing is good enough to deserve 2 rides, a musical, floats in multiple parades, WoC spot, IASW representation, a small show (army men) or 2 parking lots, plus M&G for many of the characters...

I would limit it to 1 ride, 1 float per parade, and WoC, and have the big parking lot be the PIXAR lot, while the other one is some other Disney character
    Trips coming up:

    May 22-26th
    July 13th-18th
    November 19th-25th

I have to disagree here. I think they look okay and besides, woody and jesse are children's toys and the ride is about the children of the world.

and no i am not tired of it. Toy Story has the essance of Disney. It whimisical, has a great story and has loveable characters.

Re: Anyone but me tired of Toy Story in the Parks?

well i love TSMM and BLAB, i never saw the pixar play parade so i have no opinion on that. i don't think it's a good idea for toy story the musical to replace aladdin the musical, and the army show thing i thought was pretty cool.

i am a little tired of toy story, but i'm not hating the fact that it's everywhere (cause it kind of is)
