    Club 33 Tips/Suggestions

So it looks like I will be getting to dine at Club 33 in a couple weeks.

I'm therefore asking for any tips or advice from veterans on how to best enjoy it.

What things should I ask about ?

What should I look for ?

Any food to really try or avoid ?

I have no problem with being a total tourist on this...

    Any suggestions are VERY welcome

I found it really fun to just walk around and absorb the atmosphere. While we waited for our food to get cooked, we got up and wandered around the halls, looked at the stuff on the walls, "watched" Fantasmic from the balcony, etc. The servers didn't mind and some even gave us little history lessons about the restaurant.

Bring money for souvenirs/memorabilia. I felt really tempted to buy one of everything in the showcase display :P

Are boys allowed to ? LOL

So it looks like food is better at lunch but at dinner you could get to watch Fantasmic from the balcony. Right ?

Well, there's a big tree in the way when you try to watch Fantasmic from the balcony. You can't really see much.

Have a couple of grey goose martinis. The bar tender there makes a mean one.

I've only had dinner, but I hear lunch is actually better.

    My tips:

Buy some stuff there. Purchase a Club 33 golf T or jacket and when you wear it around the park, you'll be treated noticeably better. It's whack, but it's real.

Spend time on the balcony. It's just really cool.

Snake just a few napkins from the washroom and set them out at your next football party or whatever. It's a remarkable conversation starter.

    Take the elevator.

nothing is too terribly expensive. during my last visit I purchased the notecards that say "member exclusive". it turns out they're not exclusive and even non-members can buy them! the only thing non-members cannot purchase is the license plate cover. everything else is up for grabs.

I believe the golf shirts are about $30. they seem to run out of S/M/L sized shirts by dinner time, so lunch would be a good time to buy merchandise. every time I've been for dinner they've only had XXL, so I finally broke down and bought it. unfortunately, it looks ridiculous, so I wear it to sleep.

to give you an idea of prices, the last time I purchased the winter-style Mickey ears (silver Club 33 inside what looks like a snowflake instead of the regular gold logo), a silver lapel pin, a latte mug, and the notecards and it came out to about $90.
