    Disney Parks Ranking...

So I'm curious to see both what fellow Disney fanatics say and how lovers of Disneyland rank the various other parks, but here we go...

Rank each one of the Disney Parks from Most to Least favorite, with maybe a little blurb about why.

    1) Disneyland (Started it all, Walt's spirit and magic still lives here)
    2) Animal Kingdom (One ride, Kilamanjaro Safaris, is bigger than all of Disneyland, 'nuff said)
    3) Tokyo Disney Seas (Never been there, but it is the foreign park I want to go to the most, the general theming and the rides look amazing!)
    4) Magic Kingdom (Second best at WDW, has the benefit of most the same rides at DL)
    5) Disneyland Paris (While it gets harder to fairly rank the more foreign we get, the castle at this park, and the fact that it snows there in the winter is very appealing!)
    6) Disney's Hollywood Studios (Star Tours, ToT, and Rockin' Rollercoaster)
    7) EPCOT (Test Track/Mission: Space/World Showcase)
    8) Tokyo Disneyland (World Bazaar seems interesting and quite different from what's at the entrance to the other DL copies)
    9) Disney's California Adventure (Soarin' Over California/GRR/Some of the remaking they're doing could significantly improve the park, namely Buena Vista Street and Hollywoodland)
    10) Walt Disney Studios (Seems similar to Hollywood Studios, though not as good)
    11) Hong Kong Disneyland (Smallest park, very few lands, and strange use of red bricks instead of asphalt for the road, and it seems like the foreign DL copy that is the least tied to the original, I mean there isn't even a Partner's Statue, c'mon..)
    12) Shanghai Disneyland (Not built yet, so it finishes last for tardiness and based on Hong Kong Disneyland, I'm not hoping for any kind of greatness.)
Words any Disney fan and especially Disney employee should live by:

"Disneyland is a work of love. We didn't go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money."
    -Walt Disney

"Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world."
    -Walt Disney

"I do not like to repeat successes, I like to go on to other things."
    -Walt Disney

"We did it, Disneyland, in the knowledge that most of the people I talked to thought it would be a financial disaster - closed and forgotten within the first year."
    -Walt Disney

"It's kind of fun to do the impossible."
    -Walt Disney

"I only hope that we don't lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse."
    -Walt Disney

    Re: Disney Parks Ranking...

    the ones ive been to.

    1.)EPCOT
    2.)Disneyland
    3.)Animal Kingdom
    4.)California Adventures
    5.)Walt Disney World
    6.)Disneys Hollywood Studios
    7.)Tokyo Disneyland
    8.)Disneyland Paris.

The reason seven and eight are who they are is because while each has their own trademarks i cant understand a word on the rides (especially) in tokyo and their just duplicates anyway so DHS is better just because it has a different approach.

    Re: Disney Parks Ranking...

I've haven't been to all of the parks so this is speculative based on reviews, pictures and other things I've seen and read online. I put the parks I haven't been to in italics.

Disneyland--Nothing else like it. Walt's heart beats here. Period.

Tokyo Disney Sea--Just looks incredible. I would love to visit this park someday.

Epcot--A great experience. Seems to have lost its way a bit over the years, but it's still a very charming park. I love the idea of a park that exists to spread hope, knowledge and idealism. We've lost a lot of that as a society and Walt built this park because he saw the best in us. That's incredibly special. I fall in love with it a little more everytime I go.

Magic Kingdom--It lacks a certain something when I compare it to Disneyland, but it's a magical place regardless and I really enjoy my time there. There's something really special about taking the boat over and seeing the castle poking out above the trees from the other side of the lagoon. It really sets a nice pace for the rest of your day and establishes a scope that Disneyland just can't match.

Disneyland Paris--Looks stunning in scale and design. Too bad it came out of the gate so slow. This is the kind of park they should be aspiring for, not shying away from. I hope I can visit one day.

Disney's Hollywood Studios--I'm a sucker for the old Hollywood feel, and this park has a bunch of great rides and shows to choose from. Pound for pound a great park.

Animal Kingdom--Beautifully designed and honestly sits here on my list because I haven't spent that much time there and some of it doesn't interest me much. Probably unfair as I read other rankings. Everest is a really great ride.

Tokyo Disneyland--Looks pretty cool, but I prefer DL and MK based on what I've seen.

Disney's California Adventure--I have a soft spot in my heart for this sad little park. I see the flaws and know it's nothing special, but I have some really great memories at DCA. I can't wait to see the refurb!!! Might bump it up the list a bit.

Walt Disney Studio's--Looks pretty sad, hopefully getting better soon.

    Hong Kong Disneyland--Meh.

    Shanghai Disneyland--Still waiting.
