What is California Adventures like now, as of 2010?

I know there is a lot of construction going on and I just went there over the 2009 summer, and the World of Colors was just under construction, but are there a lot of things under board and nail/ blocked off from the public? Are a good amount of the shops and rides still open?

Still many walls, and the World of Colour show is not open yet. Many of the rides are still open, but the closures will continue to cycle through the park for the next few years as everything gets a facelift.

It's still Wall World, but subtle progress has been made. SSS is nearing completion, and RSR has gone vertical.

And Yes, contruction walls will continue to be prominent all over DCA, especially with Little Mermaid attraction opening next year, and all of the main entrance of DCA soon going under construction, with Buena Vista Street, as well as the current Red Car Line currently under construction.

oh, to add, they are trying to keep as much open as possible, but the area near Little Mermaid (Souvenier 66 and the nearby corndog palace is still closed, as is the former McDonald's restaurant.) When construction begins in the entry area, they will need to close some of those stores. during construction. Check the DCA Tracker topic for all the up to date info on what is closed, and what is scheduled to close.

hmm.. another pet peeve of mine. Esp when it comes from cms in the park..


But really, I believe many have adjusted to ALL of the construction walls around and in the park.. They will be greatly missed once they are removed.. NOT!! ha

Every time I have been to DCA, I've never seen the section of the park where I think it may be called SF street? Is it hidden behind the construction?
