BTMRR down for refurb in May :(

So disneyland.com must have heard the through the grapevine that MCer's were unhappy with the calendar not being updated, they finally did it! I am very disappointed, BTMRR is down for refurb on our visit! That is my favorite ride in DL, I am so megabummed out! So with that, what would be a good substitute? I'd say the Matterhorn, but that is down too, why, why did they have to do this to me, lol!!!

This has been on the calendar for several weeks, you just had to select a date range and not view the month to month view. Still a shame you'll miss it.

The Matterhorn should be open during your visit; it will be down from April 12-16 and 19-23.

Oh well, Hmmm, I thought the Matterhorn was closed, if not, that will be great! I noticed ROA will be back open, do you think TSI will be also?

No, the ROA should be refilled and the walls down, but TSI will not be back. I believe that the water attractions (Mark Twain, Sailing Ship Columbia, Rafts to Tom Sawyer's Island, and Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes) will all reopen on, I want to say, May 14. I am not 100% sure on that date, but it is around there.

At least those ugly off-green walls will be down for your visit for some great views!

With BTMRR down for refurb, Frontierland will be the only land with no working attractions.

Big Thunder will close on April 26th and will reopen on May 16th. So thats about a week that Frontierland will have no attractions to offer until ROA is refilled and the River Attractions (except Pirates Lair) reopen on May 6th.

Frontierlands going to litteraly be a ghost town since the only things that will be open in that small period are the stores, Golden Horseshoe and the Restaruants.

You still have the oldest attraction open in Frontierland.

Oh right. But a petrified tree doesn't need a refurb does it? J/K I know it's the oldest by nature.

If a CM ever ask what the oldest attraction in Disneyland is
that's the answer they are looking for.
